'New tailor-made biopolymers produced from lignocellulosic sugars waste for highly demanding fire-resistant applications'

French university is looking for industrials to test new bio-based thermosetting polymers

The research team of 20 people is based in northern France and their main activity is environmentally friendly processes.
The research laboratory‘s work is focused on the development and the investigation of non- fossil compounds (polymers and composites) as bio-based polymers, bio-composites, bio-additives, and concretes.
This innovative bio-based polymer is produced from animal’s protein and has insulating and fire-resistance properties. Some promising applications could be insulating electronic boxes , furnitures or building materials.
